Blog Questions

My friend Knitty blogged a "question" and I'm following her lead. How about you?

What brought you to the world of blogging? How did you decide on your look? Did you set out to write mainly about one subject and if so, have you been successful?

I first started blogging after I found the world of blogs and got lost in the awesome ideas each blogger seemed to share. This was about 3 years ago? I think? And then I disappeared from the net for about a year, and then I came back, with this Blog =] I have been known to disappear from the net from time to time. Phases of life. But I will never ever delete another whole blog ever again. I pinky swear.

My look? Not sure I have one of those, but I ended my last blog with this layout, and decided to keep it when I started blogging again. But layouts are like accessories, and a girl doesn't always want to wear the same thing, so I go through moods where I change my layout a million times a month. I love the option of being able to add pictures and buttons and all those fun gadgets on the side. And by adding my weekly challenges, it helps me remember what I'm suppose to make.

I used to write about all kinds of stuff. My Wives, our Parties, foods, lots of drinks, the kids, daily struggles, shopping, and creating. I guess I still do and will. It's an online diary, right? So although everyone wants to keep their blogs all about happiness and rainbows, give me a break. That's not real. Show us sometimes that you're just as frustrated, or stressed, or heartbroken, or... whatever real life issues you may sometimes have. So what if you accidentally type out a 4 letter cuss in your post. Who cares if your slip is showing from time to time, or that you have toilet paper stuck to the bottom of your stiletto heel. Your readers start to feel connected to you after a few weeks of "visiting your world" and like a friend, they will support you on super crappy days, as well as being uberly excited on your happy ones!

Now it's your turn!
