Just a quicky this morning as I'm suppose to be getting dressed right now, heh heh.
Yesterday on the way to grocery shop for the children who insist on eating every single day I made a quick, and I do mean quick, pit stop by GW-boutique (otherwise known as GoodWill) in search of a fabulous find so I could make it through the treacherous aisles of Walmart. You know what I'm talking about.
What did I find?
These fabulous ruffled curtain valances!

Which will be covering the fronts and backs of my pile of ugly green commissary grocery bags.

I also finished up the rest of my Walmart bags the other night, in hopes that I would use them if they were left in my car. But. Sigh. I walked right into Walmart without them and didn't even notice until they were packing grocerys into their flimsy plastic bags.

Here's a couple more ornies I'm throwing into the giveaway pot this weekend! Yesterday, someone said I must have too much time on my hands. It was her way of thanking me for something I had made her. It kind of.. took me by surprise that someone would think that. Too much time? Is there such a thing? It's not that at all, believe me. With two daughters in their double digit years, a husband who's never home long, an FRG I'm "suppose" to be more helpful with, and a life of my own, I find gluing something together at night, or really fast before I head out into the big bad world soothes me. It's theraputic. And as my WhiteBoy says... it keeps me out of bars, and out from behind bars. *roll eyes*

Since I'm rushing this morning, I didn't take back or side pictures of these, but they're pretty-pretty :) And as always, these look way better without a glare, bad lighting, and in person. lol.
This is longer than I meant to blog already. I am going to be "social" today and do a tour of some Post Houses on our installation! It should be interesting to see some of these gorgeous interiors! If I'm allowed, I'll take pictures so you can see how the "other side" err... military side, lives!

p.s. My bottle brush trees are just bleached. Depending on the length of time you leave them in bleach will depend on the color of your tree when you take it out! It's easy, but stinky.
